My wife and I had come to Budapest to celebrate her birthday and had wanted to try the famous goulash soup. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Ket Szerecsen was recommended nearby. It is a very small traditional restaurant that always seems to be busy which is a good sign in my book. The tables are small and the lunch menu is simple but caters for most tastes including vegetarians. There is a good selection of Hungarian wines and some wines from the world. The Hungarian dry white wine is very good. The local beer Dreher is also very good. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; We ordered the goulash soup, a Hungarian meat platter. The soup was very very tasty and I would highly recommend it. The platter was good for local meats and a good head. For two starters, bread, mineral water, two large beers and two large wines we paid a reasonable price of &pound;30. Would recommend a visit if you want to go on a busy evening.

We ate at this restaurant during our 4 night stay in Budapest. Different courses and everything was perfectly prepared over two days accompanied by good wines at reasonable prices. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; Pick your own lobster but had oysters and champagne for starter. &lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; No need to tell but all was fresh seafood and exquisitely presented in glass monters.

We visited a few more times last week and this is our verdict: comfort home made food (mostly gluten free) fresh salads and a nice grill. Desserts were ok, only the rice pudding was GF! The girls who are in the enterance are very rude, this is the only reason I would avoid this place! We had a reservation; the girls didn&#39;t care about our order and gave us a small table that didn&#39;t fit, while giggling and saying oh sorry. Last time we were there we left! This is how you lose good customers who have been visiting here regularly for years! No complaints about the manager, because this year there was a gentleman with a plaid shirt and short black hair!!

Really nice place, the menu is modern and tasty. The price are not high, actually this place is a great bargain. Also the location is not bad, in particular the open area in front of the back entrance is a nice place to stay. The waitress was kind and professional. We take a menu and an hamburger for a total bill of ~8000 fiornini (25 &euro;). Definitely recommended.

Returned to Budapest on August 8th. I have had 2 market szerecen dinners since then. Both were excellent, just like the one a year ago and 2 years ago when I was in Budapest. The service was excellent and the food was not just good but consistent. The desserts were both creative and very delicious. It is possible to go once a week as they have a Wednesday menu and a weekly menu. This is often the place to go when a good lunch or dinner is needed. Located in Andrassy on Nagymezzo is a very nice Budapest.

到布达佩斯的第一顿就感受到了这边的物价有多感人，点的lamb还有duck。breast，很有味儿，略微有点偏咸，可是是这里的口味，还点了汤和水，吃的很饱，一共31欧。我们到的时候是下午6点，没有定位，只剩最靠近门口的小位置，所以建议提早订位。

服务员本来给了两个座位选择，都是双人座，刚好有人结账离开，服务员又推荐了个大沙发座，又舒适又大，包还有地方搁，对服务点赞。牛肉汤不错。匈牙利风味的鸭肝，火腿，salami拼盘非常好，上面大量洋葱大葱，还有青椒圈和番茄，很好吃，量也大。主菜点了羊肩和辣鸡腿，羊肩很嫩，几乎都不用刀，野性十足。辣鸡腿三只，一点儿不辣，可是味道还不错了。喝了推荐的三分之一瓶干白，不错，就是配猪羊不太搭，只是今天已经喝了三次酒了，到了第四场酒，就只要干白不加干红了。结账比纽约咖啡馆便宜一大截，算上小费才12000福林，是次很愉悦的享用。

We went to that restaurant on Saturday night. There were no empty tables so we made a reservation and came back 30 minutes later. The food selection is very good, you have everything - from traditional specialties like beef, meat and various meat salads, sushi stuffed cabbage, fish. The desserts are delicious, especially the eclairs. My favorite is the grill, where you go to choose the meat you want and they cook it in about 5 minutes. I had the best fish of my life - African catfish. Good wine and lemonade. The price is 22 euros/person on weekends, cheaper during the week.
